Gulf Breeze Relay reaches out for teams

Gulf Breeze Relay for Life is still looking for teams for its 2007 event, schedule for May 11 and 12. With an event goal of 37 teams, Gulf Breeze Relay has nearly reached that goal with 27 teams currently on board.

"We are very excited about this year's Relay for Life event. We are well on our way with teams, but could always use more," said Event Chair JoAnn Rose. This year's Gulf Breeze Relay theme is "Lights, Camera, Take Action for a Cure." Relay will be at the Gulf Breeze High School football stadium, and teams are encouraged to participate by donning movie or television style themes. The monetary

goal for this year's event is $ 1 1 8 , 0 0 0 . Because of the last year's outs t a n d i n g support of the Gulf B r e e z e community, Gulf Breeze Relay raised over $112,000 with an original goal of only $60,000.
