Man charged with molesting girl in Gulf Breeze in '05

Sanchez
Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office Investigators arrested a Navarre man for committing a sexual offense against a juvenile. The investigation began when investigators were contacted in reference to Sanchez, 31, allegedly fondling two teenage girls who spent the night at his home in Gulf Breeze in 2005. The victim told investigators that Sanchez entered the room where she was sleeping and began to touch her in a sexual manner underneath her clothing. During the investigation, detectives discovered another female juvenile that claimed Sanchez also touched her inappropriately. Sanchez allegedly offered the victim money to not tell others about the incident. Sanchez was interviewed by investigators and denied the allegations but was arrested without incident on Feb. 27. Sanchez was charged with one felony count of lewd and lascivious behavior and an investigation about the second girl's claim is pending. Sanchez, who lives on the 2700 block of Riverside Landing Drive in Navarre, is being held in the Santa Rosa County Jail without bond.
