GBSA basketball league concludes this weekend

The GBSA basketball season will conclude at the Rec Center Saturday. The following is a recap of Week 9 action:

7-8 Coeds

Grace 16, Barnes 4

Hans Schroeder had six points for Grace, while Evan Schulz, Reid Binion, Spencer Grace, Zach Pohlman, Leisel Schroeder had two each.

Macey Hicks and Logan Turner each had two points for Barnes.

Larsen 16, Stringfellow 7

Nicholas Myers had 12 points for Larsen, and both Noah Woods and Malcolm Landrieu had two points.

Luke Stringfellow had four points for Stringfellow, while Brian Joyner had three points.

Taylor 14, Thompson 13

Andreas Candela had eight points for Taylor, while Maddie Grace McCurdy had four and Alec Grimes two.

Taylor Kehoe had seven points for Thompson, while Connor Thompson had four points, and Kyler Strange had two points.

9-10 Girls Ferrara 17, Clark 11 Laura Riney had six points for Ferrara, while both Emily Branco and Nicollette Matthews had four points, and Christina Ferrara had three points.

Alexa Clark had five points for Clark, while Emily Delp had four points, and Paige Van Tassel had two points.

Rockett 20, Crowdis 13

Cate Hodges had six points for Rockett, while Amanda Holder and Emily Radcliffe each had five points, and Bailey Trzcinski had four points.

Jessie Droogsma and Ashley Thompson each had four points for Crowdis, while Ashley Truax and Elizabeth Spence each had two points, and Renae Schmidt had one point.

11-14 Girls

Welsh 40, Bryant 33

Emma Kimsal had 17 points for Welsh, while Sarah Tolan had 11 points, and Natalie Welsh and Samantha Welsh each had six points.

Katie Bowyer had 15 points for Bryant, while Jamie Droogsma had eight points, Katie Munsch had four points, both Shelly Link and Richelle Czeck had two points, and both Courtney Radcliffe and Jessica Bryant had one point.

Brown 15, Hawthorne 14

Michelle Brown had nine points for Brown, Ashley Scott had three points, Emily Lively had two points, and Jessica Fromularo had one point.

Maggie Hooks had seven points for Hawthorne, while Lindsey Hawthorne had three points, and Katie Aldridge and Carol Mouna both had two points.

9-10 Boys

Mink 23, Crowdis 19

Christian Latta had 12 points for Mink, while Clay Moss had eight points, and Reid Folland had three points.

Blake Fournie had 13 points for Crowdis and Alex Barham had six points.

Stringfellow 23, Gill 16

Troy Stringfellow had nine points for Stringfellow, while Julian Gordon, Austin Faircloth, and Mac Pewitt each had four points, and Garner Curington had two points.

Matthew DeMahy had 11 points for Gill, while Zane Gill had three points, and Peyton Hoover had two points.

Aydelott 32, Flake 29

Jack Joyner had ten points for Aydelott, while both Josh Martin and Brandon Aydelott had eight points, Daniel Harris had three points, and Bradley Proctor had one point.

Auston Fillinger had 13 points for Aydelott, while Michael Hawkins had ten points, Logan Smith had four points, and Will Musmansky had two points.

Jarvis 31, Battel 13

Cole Brown had 14 points for Jarvis, while Austin Dewees had eight, Kale Jarvis seven points, and Connor Harris two.

Andy Creech had 12 points for Battel and Jace Amberson had one point.

Jonathan Burkett had 20 points for Maddox, Luke Cunningham had six points, Garrett Glassman had four points, and William Davis had two points.

David Alverson had ten points for Hawthorne, John Mark Carbaugh had eight points, Nick Dugger and Robbie McLin each had four points, and Matt Hawthorne had two points.

Fry 36,Watts 23

Nick Bookout and Joel Fry both had ten points for Fry, Randy Halpin had six points, Joshua Goldstein and Kyle Folland each had four points, and Alex Trotter had two points.

Taylor Busbee had ten points for Watts, Jacob Doyle had five points, Blake Meredith had four points, and Bobby Radcliffe and Harrison Rhodes each had two points.

Castleberry 35, Chavez 25

Patrick Roane had 15 points for Castleberry, Allen Wang had 14 points, Austin Poling and Taylor Castleberry each had two points, and Eric Larsen had one point.

Josh Monserrate had 11 points for Chavez, Alex Chavis had ten points, Marco Pena and Reid Torgersen each had two points.

Dekozan 28, Battel 14

Landon Cagle had 13 points for Dekozan, Mitchell Dekozan had 12 points, Chad Wise had two points, and James Mozur had one point.

Xan Sarra had ten points for Battel, Nate Hoskins had two points, Andrew Flynn and Sam Hoskins each had one point.

Taylor 40, Newell 16

Christopher Taylor had 12 points for Taylor, Andrew Jurnovoy had eight points, Westin Demotts and Alex Meade each had six points, and Cody King had two points.

Austin Droogsma had seven points for Newell, Nick Kessler had four points, Michael DeMahy and Nick Gupta each had two points, and Carson Sharp had one point.

Taylor Webb had 13 points for Challenor, Chris Kessler had ten points, Holden Tibbs had seven points, Trevor Challenor had six points, and Cal Campbell had four points.

Jordan Bennett and Caleb Harris each had seven points for Battel; while Jordan Battel had six points, and Jeffery Smith and Hunter Bradshaw each had two points.

Hughes 35, Catellier 33

Garrett Reeves had 11 points for Hughes, while Ross O'Hara and Garrett Reeves each had ten points, Stefan Harper had two points, and Mason Barnes and Ethan Friedland each had one point.

Max Cyr had 14 points for Catellier; while Tyler Wright had six points, Brandon Peklo had five points, and Paul Spraggins and Kalani Routh each had four points.
