7 p.m. on ABC Ugly Betty: Who's your daddy? He's a killer! In "Trust, Lust and Must," Ignacio (Tony Plana) shocks Betty (America Ferrera) with the reason he came to the United States illegally. It has to do with a little criminal matter back home. Wilhelmina (Vanessa Williams) offers to pay the Suarez family's legal bills, but it'll cost Betty big time. Daniel (Eric Mabius) falls for a woman (guest star Salma Hayek) who may be out of his league, intellectually at least. 8 p.m. on CBS CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: Some of the faces in this episode will look familiar ... albeit out of place. Andie McPhee from "Dawson's Creek" in a nun's habit? Yup, that's Meredith Monroe as Sister Bridget, who crosses paths with Grissom (William Petersen) and his team when a body is found in church. The evidence leads to a longstanding love triangle involving a man (guest star Tim Guinee) who's now a priest. Sean Patrick Flanery ("The Dead Zone") also guest stars. Friday 7 p.m. on FOX The 38th NAACP Image Awards: Everybody loves "Everybody Hates Chris." With eight nominations, the sitcom is the front-runner in the television comedy category at this year's edition of the awards ceremony honoring diversity in showbiz and literature. Other potential big winners are singers Beyonce and Mary J. Blige and the movie "Dreamgirls." Bill Cosby, singer Bono and newscaster Soledad O'Brien are slated to receive special awards. L.L. Cool J hosts. 8 p.m. on NBC Las Vegas: You can take the boy out of the casino, but can you take the casino out of the boy? Ed (James Caan) is mulling retirement, but not severing his ties with the Montecito. In fact, he's thinking about buying the place. Sam (Vanessa Marcil) discovers she can't buy much of anything, as her inheritance comes with an enormous tax bill. Danny and Delinda (Josh Duhamel, Molly Sims) are the victims of a crime in the new episode "Junk in the Trunk." Saturday 9 p.m. on NBC Law & Order: Criminal Intent: You thought you'd heard some sordid stories about former child stars? This episode has not one, but two kid stars of yesteryear gone bad; in fact, one has gone dead. Logan and Wheeler's (Chris Noth, Julianne Nicholson) investigation leads them to a drug headquarters operating out of an ice-cream truck, then to another former child star, a counterfeiting racket and the Albanian mob. Eric Bogosian also stars in "Blasters." Sunday 9 p.m. on CBS Without a Trace: This time it's personal. One of the missing persons in the new episode "Without You" is Elena's (Roselyn Sanchez) little girl, snatched by a thug who overpowered the baby sitter. Elena thinks her vengeful ex, Carlos, is involved, and Danny (Enrique Murciano) is inclined to believe she's right ... and that his own involvement with Elena played a role. The rest of the team searches for a missing tourist. Monday 8 p.m. on CBS Two and a Half Men: Ryan Stiles is back; hooray! The "Drew Carey Show" alum reprises the role of Herb, Judith's (Marin Hinkle) fiance. Alan (Jon Cryer) is thrilled about his ex's impending marriage and the end of alimony. But there's a fly in the ointment: Jake (Angus T. Jones), who can't stand his future stepdad. Alan asks Charlie (Charlie Sheen) to help him keep Herb's feet warm, figuratively speaking, in "A Live Woman of Proven Fertility." Tuesday 8 p.m. on FOX House: Could our Dr. House be seriously ill himself? Cameron (Jennifer Morrison) fears the worst when she discovers her boss (Hugh Laurie) has contacted a hospital in Massachusetts about taking part in a clinical trial with a brain cancer specialist. House, however, downplays his staff's worries to concentrate on his current patient: a 35-year-old man (guest star Dave Matthews) whose brain injury turned him into a musical genius in the new episode "Half-Wit." Wednesday 8 p.m. on FOX The Wedding Bells: It's a David E. Kelley production, so you know it's going to be quirky. Teri Polo, KaDee Strickland and Sarah Jones star in this new comedy drama series as the Bell sisters, who have just taken over their parents' wedding planning business. Chaos reigns as they try to give each client a wedding day to remember while trying to have some semblance of a love life themselves. Michael Landes, Benjamin King and Chris Williams also star. 9 p.m. on ABC Lost: The surprises just keep coming in the new episode "Enter 77." Sayid, Kate and Locke (Naveen Andrews, Evangeline Lilly, Terry O'Quinn) discover a
mysterious structure that houses an equally mysterious resident. Sawyer (Josh Holloway) plays a pingpong game with high stakes: his stuff. Matthew Fox and Emilie de Ravin also star. |
