Lady Dolphins roll in season opener

      The Gulf Breeze Lady Dolphin softball team opened the 2007 season last week with a 13-3, five inning win over PHS. But the Lady Dolphins would lose two in as many days to West Florida Tech and Milton to end the week at 1-2.

Gulf Breeze resident signs with Pelicans

      The Pensacola Pelicans announced last week the signing of left-handed pitcher Jeff Rodriguez to a contract for the 2007 season. Rodriguez will begin his first professional season with the Pelicans as a situational pitcher out of the bullpen.
