DYKES

Darrin "Cody" Dykes passed away suddenly Monday, February 12, 2007. Cody was born October 20, 1985 in Pensacola to Debi and Jeff Dykes. He loved his family and had a special relationship with his brothers. He was a huge Gator Fan and had a special love for dogs. He helped with the rebuilding of New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.

He is survived by his parents, Debi Dykes and Jeff Dykes; his stepmother, Gina Dykes; his brothers, Anthony Jeter, Tobie Jeter, Timothy (T.J.) Jeter, Jeffrey Dykes, Brandon Dykes and Casey Dykes; his grandparents, Doug and Jeanette Dykes, Donald and Shelvadean Nelson; his step-grandparents, Ron and Sue Christian; his special friends, Nick VanHoosen, Steven Buttrick, Nicole St. Aubin, Ashley Barker; his special cousin, Michael Cook; numerous cousins, three nephews and many many friends.

Pallbearers will be his personal friends.

The family received friends Thursday, February 15, 2007 at Bible Way Baptist Church, 5976 Dogwood Drive, Milton,Florida from 6 until 8 p.m..

The Funeral Service was noon, Friday, February 16, 2007 at Bible Way Baptist Church, with Pastor Bill Wright officiating. Interment will follow at Harold Cemetery, Harold, Florida.

A Memorial Service was held Saturday, February 17, 2007 at Pensacola Elks Lodge at Pensacola Beach at 5 p.m.

FAITH CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 100 Beverly Parkway, is in charge of arrangements.
