New sporting goods store open

Sports Connection, a new sporting goods store, is now open in Gulf Breeze in the Bruno's Shopping Center.

Owners Jamie and Laura Colston recognized the need for a convenient source for sporting equipment with their involvement in the community and as they support their two sons' athletic endeavors.

"We want to be community centered and we see the need for a store that's responsive to the needs of Gulf Breeze residents," Jamie Colston said.

The store opened Feb. 9 and new merchandise is arriving weekly. Sports Connection will add or custom order items as customers request them.

The store is currently stocked with baseball and softball gear and Gulf Breeze apparel, and will be adding equipment and apparel for soccer, football, volleyball and cheerleading.

The store is located at 360 Gulf Breeze Parkway, next to the Greenery Café and is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. For details, call 916-0448
