Sacred Heart Children's Hospital receives $13K

Home Place Furniture in Pensacola has donated $13,000 to benefit Children's Miracle Network (CMN) at Sacred Heart Children's Hospital.

The funds were raised during the summer of 2006 as part of Home Place's anniversary sale, with a portion of sales going towards Children's Hospital. Patients at Children's Hospital drew the artwork that was used in the ads for the sale.

Hank Browne, president and owner of Home Place Furniture, credits their customers for their amazing generosity.

"Because of our terrific customers, the Home Place Furniture Children's Miracle Network Anniversary Event was a huge success," said Browne. "Every year during our Home Place Anniversary Sale, a portion of our retail sales goes to the CMN hospitals in our stores area. This year was the best ever. Without the support of our business, this would not have happened. Thank you, Northwest Florida for supporting Home Place Furniture with such enthusiasm year after year."

For the past 11 years, Home Place Furniture locations throughout the country have raised more than $500,000 for Children's Miracle Network hospitals.
