GBSA Week 7 basketball recap

The following is a recap of week seven of the Gulf Breeze Sports Association's basketball season:

7-8 Coeds

Grace 15, Taylor 10

Hans Schroeder had 13 points for Grace and Evan Schulz had two.

Alec Grimes had six points for Taylor, while Andres Candela had four.

Hawkins 9, Thompson 8

Megan Hawkins and Eric Czeck both had four points for Hawkins, while Kiersten Edlund had one point.

Taylor Kehoe had four points for Thompson, while Cole Sheppard and Connor Thompson had two each.

Stringfellow 8, Barnes 3

Luke Stringfellow had four points for Stringfellow, while Will Cross had three and Brian Joyner one.

Claudia Manderson had three points for Barnes.

Larsen 16, Hoskins 8

Nicholas Myers had 14 for Larsen, while Madison Demotts had two.

Gage Irwin had four points for Hoskins, while Owen Hayes and Daven Patel both had two points.

9-10 Girls

Clark 16, Ferrera 6

Emily Delp and Alexander Karcher had four points each for Clark, while Paige Van Tassel and Savannah Nixon had three each and Alexa Clark two.

Emily Branco, Madison Passey, and Christina Ferrara each had two points for Ferrera.

Rockett 9, Crowdis 8

Aspen Lee had three for Rockett, while Emily Radcliffe, Natalie Rockett and Natalie Neff had two each.

Elizabeth Spence had five points for Crowdis, while Ashley Truax had two, and Selena Lilo had one point.

11-14 Girls

Hawthorne 22, Brown 17

Katie Aldridge had 10 points for Hawthorne, while Lindsey Hawthorne had eight and Elizabeth Hoehn and Kathryn Miller had two each.

Michelle Brown had nine points for Brown, while Ashley Scott had four and Jessica Fromularo three.

Welsh 23, Bryant 18 Emma Kimsal and Sarah Tolan both had 10 points for Welsh, while Kerrie Shaw had three.

Katie Bowyer had 10 points for Bryant, while Richelle Czeck had six and Peyton Blocker had two.

9-10 Boys

Crowdis 21, Flake 18

Brian Garbell had ten points for Crowdis, while Blake Fourine had nine and Alex Barham had two.

Michael Hawkins had 14 points for Flake, while Michael Flake and Auston Fillinger both had two points.

Flake 22, Gill 21

Michael Hawkins had 15 points for Gill, while Evan Kelsch had three points and Auston Fillinger had two.

Zane Gill had 14 points for Gill, while Michael DeMahy had five points and Tyler Phelps had two.

Jarvis 26, Battel 7

Cole Brown had 12 points for Jarvis, while Kale Jarvis had six, Austin Dewees four, and Christopher Brandon and Connor Harris two each.

Jacob Smith had four points for Battel, while Jace Amberson had two, and Thomas Flynn had one.

Stringfellow 16, Aydelott 15

Troy Stringfellow had 10 points for Stringfellow, while Mac Pewitt had four and Julian Gordon had two.

Brandon Aydelott had 10 for Aydelott, while Jack Joyner had three and Josh Martin and Hunter Davis one each.

Mink 24, Newell 22

Tristen Hicks had 11 points for Mink, while Harley Spann had six, Christian Latta four and Reid Folland one.

Joshua Argentine had eight points for Newell, while Joe Lennon had six, Scott Baker had four, and Bryce St. Ores and Zach Argentine both had two points.

11-12 Boys

Taylor 30, Dekozan 24

Andrew Jurnovoy had 11 points for Taylor, while Chris Taylor had 10, Westin Demotts five and Hayden Hill and Cody King two each.

Landon Cagle had 10 points for Cagle, while Mitchell Dekozan had eight and Cassidy Warford, Chad Wise and James Mozur two each.

Maddox 52, Battel 26

Jonathan Burkett had 26 points for Maddox, while Jake Norris had 18 and Luke Cunningham 12.

Samuel Wein had eight points for Battel, while Griffin Battel and Xan Sarra both had five, Andrew Flynn four and Sam and Nate Hoskins two each.

Watts 31, Hawthorne 28

Taylor Busbee had 19 points for Watts, while Jacob Doyle had five, Bobby Radcliffe three and Nick Kozbiel and Harrison Rhodes two each.

John Carbaugh had eight for Hawthorne, while David Alverson and Matt Hawthorne had seven each, Nick Dugger four and Blaec Bejarano two.

Castleberry 34, Newell 16

Allen Wang had 20 points for Castleberry, while Reno Routh had nine and Patrick Roane five.

Nick Kessler had nine for Newell, while Austin Droogsma had four, Adam Baker two and Nick Gupta one.

Fry 38, Chavez 22

Joel Fry had 15 points for Fry, while Kyle Folland had 10, Nick Bookout seven, Joshua Goldstein four and Alex Trotter two.

Joshua Monserrate had eight points for Chavez, while Marco Pena had six, Reid Torgersen four and Alec Chavez and Trevor Johnson two each.

13-14 Boys

Brown 31, Catellier 24

Justin Ratte had 15 points for Brown, Colin Murphy had eight, Nick Romjue had six, Nathan Gupta and Bryce Wein both had four points.

Max Cyr had 13 points Catellier, Tyler Wright had nine points, and Shannon Chapman and Kalani Routh both had one point.

Custerd 40, Battel 25

Jay Halford had 20 points for Custerd, while Jordan Reid had seven, Chris Cooke six, Joshua Crabtree four and Alexander Brewer three.

Derek Daily had nine for Battel, while Jordan Bennett had seven, Jordan Battel and Hunter Bradshaw four each and John Baldwin one.

Hughes 42, Challenor 33

Garrett Reeves had 18 points for Hughes, while Thomas Rockhill had nine, Ross O'Hara seven, Stefan Harper five and Mason Barnes three.

Chris Kessler had nine points for Challenor, Taylor Webb and Cal Campbell both had eight points, Trevor Challenor had six points, and Holden Tibbs had two points.

Adkins 35, Morrison 20

Michael Simhachalan had 11 for Adkins, while Mitchell Delgado had 10, Andrew Zambetti nine, Zack Batson three and Tyler Miller two.

Corey Loudon had 15 for Morrison, while Jack Hoehn had four and Sammy Byrne one.
