To my friends,

I thank you for all the wonderful, thoughtful seasons greeting cards received Christmas 2006. Due to health and other problems it was not possible to send greetings by cards this Christmas. My thoughts and prayerful wishes go out to you. All will be remembered in a mass of thanksgiving.

Correction made about volunteer hours

What a marvelous article about GBH Volunteers. What a spread. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

However, there was one mistake. It should have read, we average volunteering 2,800 hours a MONTH, not 2,800 a year. Our fiscal year started Oct 6. Our volunteers worked 2,547 hours in Oct.; 2,524 in Nov.; 2,2l5 in Dec. Our total hours for 2005/2006 fiscal year was 31,291.25. Yes, thirty-one thousand hours for 12 months, by an average 160 active volunteers per month. I'm sure you can see how much better that sounds.

Thanks so much to you for the article. Hopefully, it will bring in many more volunteers for the number one hospital.
