OBES gets $5,000 grant

Oriole Beach Elementary has been awarded a $5,000 Lowe's Toolbox for Education grant to help landscape the school.

"We were very excited to receive this Lowe's partnership grant because it will enable us to make marked improvements to the appearance of the front of our school, something we don't have adequate school funds to do," OBES Principal Sherry Diamond said.

"We are looking forward to the results."

The fifth grade students will be part of this grant as they will be "Landscaping a Legacy." OBES teachers get grants
