PLT presents longest continuously running play of all time Since its premier at the Ambassador's Theatre in London in 1952, it has never stopped running in London. It is the longest continuously running play of all time and has become a tourist must-see when visiting London. And Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap is returning to the PLT stage. The Mousetrap is a two-act drama about a group of strangers stranded in a boarding house during a snowstorm. One of these folks is a murderer. The suspects include the newly married couple who run the house, Mollie and Giles Ralston. The suspicions that run through their minds nearly wreck their perfect marriage. Other suspects are a spinster with a curious background, an architect who seems better equipped to be a chef, a retired Army major, a strange little man who claims his car has overturned in a drift, and a jurist who makes life miserable for everyone. Into their midst comes a policeman, traveling on skis. He no sooner arrives than the jurist is killed. Two down, and one to go. To get to the rationale of the murderer's pattern, the policeman probes the background of everyone present and rattles a lot of skeletons. Get ready for another famous Agatha Christie switch finish! Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap is directed by Craige Hoover founding Artistic Director of Seaside Repertory Theatre. Performances are February 1, 2, 3 and 4.
