Nearly one year old, DFO was created and launched by Rob Duerstock, local businessman and owner of Perdido Key's Inside Out furniture store. "I do not like to be pressured or followed around the store," says Musmansky. "At DFO, I was greeted, offered a cool water on a hot day, and then I browsed alone. Only after I started looking around for assistance did the employee return to help me. I like that - great service without the 'I'm on commission' pressure to buy."

Delivery is also available, and DFO receives an A+ in that area as well. According to Musmansky, the furniture arrived on the day and at the time specified.

"Not only were they on time, they were very Furniture was wrapped to protect it as they brought it into the house, and caution was taken to protect walls and doorways from scuffs and marring. DFO is located at 8655 Gulf Beach Highway in Pensacola. Just travel as if you are on your way to Perdido by way of Bayfront Parkway or Garden Street to Barrancas. When Barrancas turns into State Road 292 after crossing Navy Boulevard, there are only five or six miles to go before you see DFO on your left.
