Dolphins celebrate Senior Night with win
Gibson scores four goals in 10-0 win over Panthers, beat Gators 6-0 on Senior Night

The Gulf Breeze Dolphin soccer team got two goals from Jake Ceravolo as they blanked Escambia 6-0 on Senior Night Jan. 10 at Dolphin Stadium.

Cory Gibson, Nik Hoskins, Eric Keasler, Johnny Miller, Clarke O'Connor, Ross Sakey and Chris Thomas were all honored before the game.

O'Connor set up the game's first goal in the 24th minute, passing to Stuart Parks, who made a long run and put it in for a 1-0 lead.

Gibson's team-leading 23rd goal made it 2-0 in the 39th minute. Leland Davis had the assist. Sakey added his fifth goal of the year right before halftime off a pass from Brad Parrish. Leland Davis' corner kick also contributed to the goal.

Leland Davis added a goal in the 51st minute off a pass from Gibson. Ceravolo rounded out the scoring with a penalty kick goal in the 56th minute and another in the 59th minute. Austin Santiago set up the second goal.

Miller played 59 minutes, while Richard Benson played the final 21 to team up for the shutout.

Dolphins 4, Navarre 0

Andrew Davis' long shot six minutes into the match set the tone as the Dolphins rolled Friday at the Navarre Soccer Complex. The two teams played to a 1-1 draw earlier this season.

Thomas Farmer made it 2-0 moments before the first half water break. Andrew Davis had the helper.

Leland Davis added an unassisted goal right before halftime before Hoskins rounded out the scoring in the 60th minute. Gibson set up the Hoskins goal.

Miller had eight saves in 60 minutes, while Benson made four in the final 20 minutes for another shutout.

Dolphins 10, Milton 0

Gibson scored three of the Dolphins' first four goals and finished with four as the Dolphins blanked the Panthers in one half Jan. 9 in Milton.

Sakey had a goal and two assists, while Tommy Gibble and Thomas both had one goal and one assist.

O'Connor, Cody Williams and Daniel Shull all scored a goal, while Ceravolo, Brad Parrish and Andrew Davis all had one assist. Benson had two saves in the win.

Dolphin JV 3, Navarre 0

Jason Lambert, Josh Epstein and Matt Shaffer all scored in the win Friday at Navarre.

Nick Malloy had two assists in the win for Gulf Breeze (13-2).

Dolphins 7, Milton 0

Danny Gibble and Eric Mayfield both scored twice for the Dolphins, while Epstein had two goals and an assist in a win Jan. 9.

Josh Suelflow added a penalty kick goal, while Shaffer and Malloy both had assists.

Dolphins 8, Escambia 0

Malloy had two goals and an assist, while Jesse Ortiz had two goals in a win over the Gators.

Gordon Frank, Danny Gibble, Mayfield and Epstein all scored once, while Lambert and Alex Colston had two assists each.

Zach Brannon had one assist, while Hayes Sperry made two saves.

Gulf Breeze plays at Catholic in their regular season finale tonight. The District Tournament starts Monday.
