Navarre Wal-mart location opens tomorrow

This week Navarre will open an almost one of a kind Walmart on Friday, Jan. 19. There are only three stores like this Wal-mart Supercenter anywhere.

The 24-hour-a-day, seven day a week store will have two pharmacy drive through windows, an enclosed Garden Center with its own entrance and drive-through loading, full grocery store, a tire and lube center, a McDonald's, one hour photo lab, vision center and a SunTrust Bank, and an expanded electronics department, to name a few of the offerings.

The 206,445-square-foot store will also offer self checkout lanes, as well as 35 full service check-outs.

It is employing 400 people at the time of opening this weekend.

On the outparcel, in front of Wal-mart on Hwy. 98, about a mile east of Navarre Bridge, will be a Murphy USA gas station.
