BRAMLETTE

William Morgan Bramlette, Jr., 78, passed away January 9, 2007. He was the son of the late William and Rosalie Bramlette. Bill was born in Memphis, TN, grew up in Ocala, FL, and graduated from the University of Florida where he was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity.

During the Korean War, Bill served in the U.S. Army. He established Futura Homes and Realty in Gulf Breeze with Art Henrichs. Between 1954 and 1975, they built over 350 homes in the heart of Gulf Breeze.

Bill loved reading, reciting poetry, and telling stories. Over the years, he was an avid golfer and tennis player as well as being active in civic and church groups. He was a member of the Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church.

Bill will be greatly missed by family and friends who experienced his great kindness and generosity. Bill always thought of others first and was quick to help anyone in need. Honesty and integrity were hallmarks of his character.

He is survived by his wife, Nell Britson Bramlette, stepchildren Ann B. Brockinton, Gulf Breeze, and Richard Britson, Metairie, LA; and their children and grandchildren. He is predeceased by wife, Ruth Grison Bramlette, and brother, Whitney Buck Bramlette.

He is also survived by sisterin law Nanci Grison Stewart, Hague, VA; cousins, Judge Morrison Buck and Mary Nelle Shinn, both of Tampa, FL, nephew, Jeffrey Clark, Newport, RI; nieces Dee Henrichs, Gainesville, FL, and Susan LeHardy of Mission Viejo, CA.

Visitation was held Saturday, January 13 at Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church, with funeral service with Dr. Timothy Thompson officiating. Burial that followed at Rose Lawn Cemetery.
