Billy Joel once sang about the night the lights went out on Broadway.

Well, in Gulf Breeze, it was Friday night.

The Gulf Breeze Dolphin soccer team was to host Tallahassee Lincoln Friday, but the lights at Dolphin Stadium wouldn't turn on.

So the teams headed to Navarre High School to play. The teams played to a scoreless tie.

Johnny Miller played the first 60 minutes in goal, while Richard Benson played the last 20. Nik Hoskins had several scoring chances for the Dolphins, but couldn't get a solid foot on them.

The JV teams moved their game to Saturday morning, with the Dolphins winning 2-1. The visitors scored the game's first goal early in the second half before Josh Epstein tied it with about 10 minutes left.

Scott Jaffe scored the gamewinner with about five minutes left.

The two teams will head back to Navarre Friday to face the Raiders at the Navarre Soccer Complex. The JV game is at 5:30, the varsity at 7:30.
