State Supreme Court rules on wind damage suits
      Citizens Property Insurance General Counsel Perry Cone said Thursday, Sept. 20 a decision by the Florida Supreme Court should end most litigation stemming from storm surge damage that occurred in 2004. Cone said for Citizens, approximately 200 lawsuits are impacted by the ruling.

Bike and golf cart stolen
      Gulf Breeze Police are looking for information about a stolen bicycle and golf cart that disappeared Sept. 23 and Sept. 19 respectively. The bike went missing from the Sailwind Apartment Complex and the golf cart was taken from Gulf Breeze Hospital. Anyone with information is encouraged to call Gulf Breeze Police at 850-934-5121.

      Students of the Holley-Navarre Intermediate school eagerly fill up plastic water jugs with coins to help keep The Zoo in Gulf Breeze afloat. By placing coins or bills in one of three jugs, the students vote for the animal they want to become their unofficial school mascot.
