WBMS welcomes 15 new teachers
      Woodlawn Beach Middle School recently kicked off its eighth year of providing quality education to students in the Tiger Point-Navarre area. WBMS has been an 'A' school for seven straight years. "Over 886 students were in attendance on the first day of school," said Principal Conni Carnley "Our slogan for this school year is 'Attitude is Everything.

Super superheroes
     Gulf Breeze High students Meagan Rea (left) and Jordan Pfeiffer were the only two Gulf Breeze students in this year's summer Theatre workshop show "It's a Bird... It's a Plane...It's Superman." The show was the result of a summer long theatre program, and 10 Santa Rosa and Escambia County high schools had students participate. The show was performed for the public over two weekends earlier this month.

Chamber may need new home
School Board votes to sell property now leased to Gulf Breeze Chamber
      Looks like Gulf Breeze Chamber of Commerce may need to find a new home. The Santa Rosa County School Board voted last week to sell the half acre of property the school district owns in Gulf Breeze. That property is currently the home to Gulf Breeze Chamber of Commerce.
