      For the third time in four years, halftimes during Dolphin football games will be filled with the sounds of the 1970s.

Dolphins make strides in scrimmage
      The Gulf Breeze Dolphin football team began its preparations for Friday's Kickoff Classic in Crestview with its intrasquad scrimmage Friday at Dolphin Stadium. "We're just trying to make the rough edges smooth," said coach Chris Nemith, referring to things like taking the proper steps and taking the proper angles in their footwork.

      Gulf Coast Youth Football jamborees pushed back a week Due to the high temperatures, the Gulf Coast Youth Football jamborees, originally scheduled for last Saturday, have been moved to this Saturday. Week 1's games, scheduled for August 25, have been moved to Week 10, with Weeks 2 through 9 staying in place.

Young Lady Dolphin squad hosts preseason jamboree Saturday
GBHS opens regular season vs. Washington
      What the Lady Dolphin volleyball team may lack in experience, fourth year coach Waynn Sellers hopes they'll make up with pure athletic ability. The Lady Dolphins, who made the playoffs last year with nine underclassmen, open the 2007 season Saturday with a preseason tournament at home.
