John V. Byrne, age 86, of Milton, FL, passed away July 4th, 2007 at home after battling Leukemia for 9 months. John was born in Grand Rapids, Mich. and retired from Michigan Bell Telephone Co after a 37 year career where he had assignments in both Lansing and Grand Rapids, MI. He moved to Gulf Breeze, Fla. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Diane, his three children, daughter Christine Casey and her husband David, son Craig Handel and his wife Donna, and son Mark Handel and his wife, Mary.
