Gulf Breeze will send 22 athletes to today's Region 1-2A meet at The Bolles School in Jacksonville. Those 22 qualified for the meet by placing in the top four of their respective events at last Thursday's District 1-2A meet in Gulf Breeze. The girls team placed second in the seven team meet with 142 points, while the boys were third with 100 points. More ... Greg Tober struck out a career-high 13 on Thursday as Tober and his Dolphin baseball senior teammates celebrated Senior Night with a 12-2 win over PHS. The win also clinched the second seed in next week's district tournament for the Dolphins, who also posted their fourth consecutive double-digit run game. More ... Two members of the Dolphin weightlifting team will compete in Friday's 1A state meet in Daytona Beach. Cory Hebert and Pat King will compete in the 119 and 238 pound weight classes, respectively.
