Married, engaged couples invited to Lenten enrichment program
      This Lent, all engaged and married couples are invited to treat themselves to a special marriage enrichment program titled, "Spirituality and the Vocation of Marriage" cosponsored by the St. Ann Family Life Commission and the diocesan Department of Marriage and Family Life.

Public invited to learn about the Bible's 'bad girls'
      A member of the Gulf Breeze United Methodist Community Life Center is calling those interested in studying "Bad Girls of the Bible," by Liz Curtis Higgs. The book discusses Eve, The "First Bad Girl" to Delilah and other bad to the bone girls as well as those like Rahab that were just bad for a season, but not forever.

St. Ann continues work on home
      April and David Dobson (above), along with their two children, David Jr., 14, and Abigail, 12, are the recipients of St. Ann Parish's 11th Habitat for Humanity house. Volunteers broke ground on Saturday, Feb. 24, followed by work on framing of the home. Volunteers are welcome to assist with the house for the next two Saturdays, March 3 (trusses) and March 10 (roofing and siding).

Discovery kids celebrate Mardi Gras
      St. Ann Discovery School's annual Mardi Gras Parade was the best ever this year! Classes made floats, wore costumes and threw beads to parents, parishioners and staff.

The Bible speaks of being right arm of the Lord

      I grew up the eldest of five competitive sons. My brothers can't engage in any sport without a wager, for example when fishing they bet on who will catch the first fish, biggest fish, and most fish. If nothing else, they will conduct an arm wrestling tournament. My brothers spend a lot of time in the gym. They have broad shoulders and bulging biceps.
