PollOfficials from the City of Gulf Breeze are developing a financing plan for the city's long-term debt obligations. Currently, the city has budgeted just over $7.5 million for capital improvement projects, payments on cash flow loans and grant matching. City staff recommends a bond issue. More ... Out of 50 possible locations throughout the north and central portions of the county, on Feb. 22 commissioners narrowed down possible parcels to two geographic areas. County development officials are preparing for the creation of 650 to 800 new jobs thanks to new additions to the Santa Rosa Industrial Park in East Milton. Five companies already have construction underway for facilities that are expected to support between 130 and 272 jobs, while five more companies are expected to break ground within the next several years.
