      Joyce T. Baxter, 81 of Gulf Breeze, died Sunday, January 14th, after a long illness. Joyce was preceded in death by her first husband, Vern Tebo; second husband, Dr. Gordon P. Baxter; parents, Loren and Emma Dilger; and sister, Muriel Rich. She is survived by her son, Shannon (Renee) Baxter of Gulf Breeze; grandchildren, Shannon (Aimee) Baxter, Jr.

      Janice Darlene Carroll, age 57 of Navarre, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2007 after her resilient battle with breast cancer. She was born in Fort Worth, Texas November 2, 1949. Darlene lived in Texas until 1981 when she moved to the Navarre/Gulf Breeze area. She was the Billing Supervisor for Midway Water Systems for many years.

      June Lanz Cook, passed away December 14, 2006 at the age of 91. She was born in Bon Aqua, TN and grew up in Seacy, AK. Preceding her in death were her husband, William J. (Bill) Cook; her grandson, PO3 Sean M. Saye, USN; sisters, Myrtle Jackson, Gladys Beck and Dorothy Roberts.

      Mrs. Lydia Weeks, age 89 of Gulf Breeze, Fla., and formerly of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., was called from this life to join her Heavenly Father from her residence on Thursday, January 4, 2007. Mrs. Weeks was born in Perry, Fla. on January 7, 1917, to Thomas C. Albrady N. O'Steen Simmons and had been a resident of the Gulf Breeze area since 1972.
