Collegiate All-America Team. Savage was named to the first team, while teammate Felipe Lawall earned second team honors. They are the first two Argonaut men’s soccer players to earn NSCAA/Adidas All- America honors.

“Keith and Felipe are very deserving of the awards and recognition, but a lot of the credit goes to what the team accomplished. If not, we would not be receiving these awards,” said head coach Bill Elliott.

Savage was one of only ten NCAA Division II men’s soccer student-athletes to earn first team All-America honors. This was Savage’s sixth postseason award after helping lead West Florida to a 20-1-3 record.

Savage had earned All-Gulf South Conference, GSC All- Tournament Team, NCAA Division II South Region All- Tournament Most Outstanding Player, Daktronics All-South Region and NSCAA/adidas All- South Region honors.

Savage totaled 28 points on 11 goals and six assists this season, including a six- point (two goals, two assists) performance in the GSC Tournament clinching victory over Montevallo.

He currently ranks fourth alltime with 33 goals and fifth alltime with 82 points. Savage also tallied at least one point in each of West Florida’s four national tournament matches.

“I’m a little stunned because I can’t believe I won the award,” said Savage. “So many other players could have won this award, but it is an honor, and I will definitely take it with pride.”

“Keith is an incredibly hard worker, and I can’t think of anyone else in the country that deserves this award more than him,” said Elliott.
