Webb named UWF employee of the month
University of West Florida e m p l o y e e M e l i s s a Webb, an office specialist in the Department of Criminal Justice and L e g a l S t u d i e s

Webb
(CJLS), was named UWF Employee of the Month for December.

“Melissa’s dedication and commitment to the university is phenomenal,” said John Smykla, CJLS chair. “She exemplifies UWF’s core values, especially outstanding customer service, and customer service means everything in our department.”

Webb was nominated through the Excellence Matters Faculty and Staff Reward and Recognition Program, which is designed to recognize the tremendous efforts and contributions faculty and staff make to UWF. Excellence Matters provides individual recognition for outstanding employee service and actions that exemplify UWF’s core values - caring, integrity, quality, innovation, teamwork, stewardship and courage. The program rewards faculty and staff who put UWF’s standards of ambassadorship, communications, courtesy, flexibility, helpfulness, knowledge, ownership, professionalism, responsiveness and safety into action.
