Nutcracker tickets, dinner packages on sale Oct. 23
Performances begin Dec. 16

Over 4,000 patrons experienced the tradition of the holiday classic "Pensacola's Nutcracker" in 2005. Patrons are encouraged to purchase tickets early this year as Ballet Pensacola is expecting sold-out performances. The tradition begins on December 16 with a truncated children's performance at 10:30 a.m. followed by the popular evening performance at 7:30 p.m. On Sunday, audiences will enjoy a matinee performance at 3 p.m. Ticket prices are $15-$27 and will be on sale at the Saenger Theatre Box Office and at all Ticketmaster locations (including by phone at 434- 7444) on Monday, October 23.

In Downtown Pensacola, when the air is chilly, the lights are glistening, and the holidays are right around the corner, the Pensacola Community gathers to celebrate a time-honored, classic story: the story of Clara and her beloved Nutcracker. For many years, Ballet Pensacola has presented Pensacola's Nutcracker to patrons and friends at the Saenger Theatre. This December, the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra and the Choral Society of Pensacola will once again join Ballet Pensacola to enchant audiences with three performances.

The Pensacola Symphony Orchestra, Maestro Peter Rubardt, and the Choral Society of Pensacola will be joining Ballet Pensacola to bring the story of Clara and her beloved Nutcracker to life. Ballet Pensacola's own Debi Marshall will perform as Clara. Joining Ballet Pensacola dancers are internationally-renowned professional dancers including Amy Fote, Thomas Shoemaker, and Morgan Hulen.

"DINNER AND DANCING" packages are available. Packages include one premier seat at Pensacola's Nutcracker and dinner at eat! Saturday, December 16. Patrons will enjoy soup & salad, choice of entrée, and dessert at eat! Enjoy an early evening walk just down Palafox to the historic Saenger Theatre for the evening performance of Pensacola's Nutcracker. "Dinner and Dancing" ticket holders will enjoy the best seats in the house for this holiday performance.
