Andrews Institute to feature state-of-the art surgery center Salus Surgical Group, a leading developer and manager of premium outpatient surgery centers, announced that it has entered into a management agreement with the Andrews Institute to develop and operate a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center as a critical component of the Andrews Institute in Gulf Breeze. This partnership will establish the Andrews Institute Ambulatory Surgery Center as a world-class center of excellence under the leadership of nationally and internationally renowned orthopedic surgeon, James Andrews, MD. Located on property contiguous to the Gulf Breeze Hospital, a Baptist Health Care facility, the 26,000 sq. ft. Andrews Institute ASC will include 8 state-of-the-art operating rooms and more than 25 recovery beds. In addition to the ambulatory surgery center, the Andrews Institute will also include an outpatient rehabilitation center, a diagnostic imaging center, physician medical offices, an athletic performance center and a research and education institute. "The Andrews Institute ASC will redefine patient care," said Dr. Randy Rosen, CEO of Salus Surgical Group.
