Baptist breaks ground in Navarre
Baptist Hospital broke ground Thursday morning, Sept. 14 at their Medical Park in Navarre for a large addition, due to open July 2007. The two-story office building being added will be 28,630-square-feet and be a free standing adjacent building housing outpatient care and a variety of physicians not now available to the area. The Baptist Medical Park Navarre first opened in year 2000. Helping with the ground breaking included from left, Facility Director NiCol DeBruicker, Navarre Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Kathy Newby, podiatrist Dr. Paul Hilbert, Dr. Ellington, Sr. VP of Baptist Health Care John Porter, F.E. Booker, owner of Booker Construction, CEO of Doster Construction Thomas Doster, and project director for Doster Don Beal. This is a joint venture of Booker and Doster Construction companies.
