City population slightly on the rise

     The population of Gulf Breeze grew last year, but only slightly. According to the University of Florida's Bureau of Economic and Business Research (BEBR), the preliminary estimate of permanent growth within the city limits was 109, bringing the total as of April 1, 2006 to 5,774.
