FDOT blocks city traffic light generator efforts

     To avoid losing power at traffic lights, Gulf Breeze city staff has recommended the use of natural gas generators to ensure safety. However, The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) maintains that there are safety issues because of the generators' placement on the FDOT right of way.
