Wildlife Sanctuary Baby Shower April 29

It's springtime at the Wildlife Sanctuary of Northwest Florida! Once again the public is invited to celebrate the Sanctuary's Annual Baby Shower and major fundraiser, Saturday, April 29 from 12:00-3:30 p.m.

Everyone Welcome! Enjoy live music with Sweet Prospect Celtic Band; shop for wildlife gifts; check out our bake sale and plant sale; feed the pelicans.

Bring your cameras, bring your kids and brings your friends to this memorable event. You'll see pelicans, fox, eagles, owls, bobcats, opossums, turtles, skunks, deer and much, much more. And don't forget to check out the Sanctuary's wish list of needed items.

The public is invited to check out the gift shop and bake sale items, take home something from our plant sale, feed the pelicans, let the kids play wildlife games and watch

a wildlife puppet show. Bring your appetite for hot dogs and sodas that will be for sale. Don't forget to bring a camera for photo opportunities.

The Sanctuary was started in 1982 and has been a growing part of the community ever since! Open seven days a week as a wildlife hospital for injured and orphaned wildlife. The facility relies mainly on your donations to support the care of these wonderful animals in need of a second chance.

BABY SHOWER WISHLIST ITEMS: Paper towels, Science Diet feline growth, tissues, liquid laundry soap, first class stamps, peanut butter, suet cakes, canned or frozen peas and corn, fresh or frozen small minnows, nylon zip ties, green or brown plastic Astroturf mats, raw peanuts in shell.
