GB Rotary recognizes Jim Green for service

Jim Green was recently awarded the Four Avenues of Service Citation, the first such award given by the Gulf Breeze club.

"Jim truly puts 'Service Above Self'," says Rotary President Paul Snider. "This was our Rotary theme for 200506, and he represents it in all that he does. In addition to the official positions he has held he also is a Paul Harris Fellow, is our sound expert at all events, is our Interact representative, and a general all around great guy."

Green is congratulated by Rotary President Paul Snider.
Rotary International President, Carl Wilhelm Stenhammar presented the award. "The work of a Rotary Club is in the hands of its members," Stenhammar explained. "and it is through hands-on service and active participation by each Rotarian in the club that our work is meaningful and successful. The Gulf Breeze Rotary Club has a great history of achievement and tonight we recognize one of your own who has made significant contributions. This award is significant because only one person per club may be nominated per year and current club presidents, immediate past presidents and current district governors are not eligible."
