LETTERS TO THE EDITOR As a Tiger Point homeowner, I agree with the tone of the recent Tiger Point Village Homeowners Association (TPHOA) newsletter. It's time to move on with cleaning up after the hurricanes. The TPHOA has been more than patient with homeowners suffering from hurricane damage by not enforcing the TPHOA covenants for almost two years. Some homeowners are using this patience as an excuse to let their properties deteriorate or just violate the covenants they don't agree with. My back neighbor's property at 3916 India Cove looks worse than most trailer parks standards and they have no reason to warrant its unacceptable condition. I agree that these homeowners that can't get their properties back to covenant standards should relocate to an area that appreciates or at least tolerates an eyesore. Calvin Jones Gulf Breeze Enjoyed article for humor and honesty A friend emailed me a link to your papers article "Bubba's Beach," T. "Bubba" Bechtol. Perhaps they sent it due to the fact, I am a retired builder and inspector, or just for the information contained. I must say that I enjoyed reading the article very much, not only for the humor, but for the honesty of the people that helped rebuild Bubba's home and the friendship that developed. Our world needs more people like those mentioned in the article. Perhaps we all need to start going to the Kingdom Hall! Have a wonderful day and thanks for allowing me to comment.
