Ante up! GB Sertoma plans Texas Hold 'Em Poker Tourney

The Gulf Breeze Sertoma Club is sponsoring a Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament on Saturday, March 25.
This event will be held at the Bay Beach Inn in Gulf Breeze beginning at 9 a.m. and continuing until there is a winner.
There is a $100 buy-in and each participant will receive $1000 in chips, a commemorative coin, hat, complimentary food and beverages. Pre-registration forms can be found on our website, www.gulfbreezesertoma. com.
Pre-registration is recommended as seating is limited. Proceeds from the event will benefit local charities.

Breeze Break Carnival
The rides are underway again at the Gulf Breeze Quarterback Club's annual Breeze Break Carnival.
This Spring Break diversion is one of the major funding sources for the Quarterback Club.
The carnival lasts through Saturday.

It's coming next weekend! Gulf Breeze Celebrates the Arts is planned for next weekend at the parking lot of Gulf Breeze High School on Highway 98.

All writers and wannabe writers are invited to attend the meetings of the South Santa Rosa Writers, formerly Navarre Chapter of Santa Rosa Literary Society. Bring your story, poem, a few pages of your novel or script to read. Members will gently critique your work and help refine it for publication. Suggestions are made for submission to various publications, guidelines for submission are discussed and news of contests is shared. Membership in South Santa Rosa Writers is free. However, if you make a sale, don't forget to bring cookies! Informal meetings are held at 6:30 p.m. every Tuesday night at St. Augustine's Episcopal Church Parish Hall, 7810 Navarre Parkway, Navarre. Tappie Villane
Tappie Villane has a new job in the Santa Rosa County Supervisor of Elections office. She is the polling place coordinator.
Supervisor of Elections Ann Bodenstein said Villane will help staff the e l e c t i o n s office in the South Santa Rosa County Annex in late Spring.
A native of Birmingham, Ala., Villane is the daughter of Gulf Breeze residents Margaret and Jim Cunningham.
She is married to Paul Villane and they have a daughter, Kaycee, 11 a student at Woodlawn Beach Middle.
