GB drama students head to State

Submitted Photo Gulf Breeze High School drama students took home five Critic's Choice Awards as well as a number of superiors and excellents from January's district competition.

Gulf Breeze High School drama students participated in district competition at Okaloosa-Walton College Jan. 19-21, and took home numerous awards including an impressive five Critic's Choice as well as an All Star Cast and Best Actress in district enabling the students to participate in the various categories for State competition in April.

"These kids work really hard for what the get," said parent Barbara Almond, mother of drama student Meredith. Almond said that the students have many expenses such as transportation, which is offset by participation in fundraising such as a yard sale.

The following is the list of students and awards they received in the categories they will be competing at State.
