Gulf Breeze Arts, Inc. announces annual arts festival

Gulf Breeze Arts, Inc., and the City of Gulf Breeze will Celebrate the Arts in their 12th annual Fine Arts Festival Saturday, March 25, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, March 26, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine, at the Gulf Breeze High School parking lot on highway 98. Admission is free and there is plenty of free parking.

There will be 125 fine art artists from Wisconsin, New York, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Oklahoma, Texas, Alabama, Georgia, Arkansas and Florida, as well as local artists. Award winning artists from 2005 are returning. Judge for the outside show is Pat Regan.

Gulf Breeze Arts, Inc. will be having their annual members' show inside the band room. Judge for this show is Peter King. Tee shirts with the festival logo will be on sale for $15 with all proceeds going to the Scholarship fund. Also adding to the Endowed Scholarship at PJC will be 10% of the Sponsor Purchase Awards. Any business or patron who plans on buying art can help the scholarship fund by doing a Purchase Award. Those interested should contact Francis Hanson-Grow at 9321722. Students from grades K-12 will be participating in the annual Student Art Show. There will also be the Children's Hands-on area for kids to do printing, face painting, clay work, rubberstamping and hat making.
