      The Lady Dolphin basketball team fell to 2-8 on the season after a pair of district losses to Pine Forest and Milton. Pine Forest 61, Lady Dolphins 49 Gulf Breeze trailed by only six at the half, only for Pine Forest (3-6) to outscore the Lady Dolphins 13-6 to put the game away Dec. 5.

Dolphins lose three district games
      The Dolphins went the entire first quarter without a basket, which allowed the Milton Panthers to take an 18-0 lead on their way to a 66-31 win Friday in Gulf Breeze. Gulf Breeze (0-7) missed all 11 of their shots in the opening quarter as Adam Allen and the Panthers went 8-for-15 (53 percent).
