GBHS freshmen hold Greek Olympics

      On Thursday, November 2 the freshmen Greek Olympics were blown away by the onset of winter-like weather. Students were huddling together under homemade togas for warmth until administration finally cancelled the freshmen event half way through third period.

      On Friday, December 1, the Gulf Breeze Optimist Club sponsored a Youth Appreciation Program at St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church, where students, Gulf Breeze City officials, parents and Optimist Club members enjoyed a lovely early morning breakfast and an inspiring program.

      GBHS SoundWave Band members greeted the Rotary Club at its weekly breakfast meeting, playing Christmas tunes. The guests entertained the club, presented a power point summary of their activities, and accepted a check for nearly $2,000.
