Navarre Fun Fest planned for June 24, 25 The Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce is inviting artists to participate in Fun Fest, June 24 and 25. The well-established arts and crafts festival is planned for the beautiful waterfront setting of Navarre Park. Fun Fest celebrates with fireworks on Saturday evening, along with entertainment, an area especially for children, food and beverage, and approximately 50 arts and crafts vendors throughout the weekend. Arts and crafts booth space is $85 and set up for the festival is on Friday, June 23. Limited Commercial booths will be available for $100. Fun Fest opens on Saturday, June 25, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday hours are 10 a.m. through 5 p.m. For more information or an application, please contact the Navarre Area Chamber of Commerce at 9393267. Pensacola Museum of Art Are you an animal lover or just looking for a way to bring out the inner animal in you? Come down to the Pensacola Museum of Art (PMA) and experience Passport to the Animal Kingdom on Saturday, March 25 from 12 - 4 p.m. This event is free and open to all families. The PMA's annual spring Free Family Day is held in conjunction with the exhibition "It's a Dog's Life: Photographs by William Wegman from the Polaroid Collection." Upon entering the Museum, attendants will receive a Passport to explore the animal kingdom. "Creation Stations" will be located throughout the Museum and children can express their creativity through animal-inspired crafts while viewing the William Wegman exhibition. This family event is free, open to the public, and made possible by the Melba B. Meyer Charitable Trust.
