JUNE 14 Santa Rosa County Democrats to meet The Santa Rosa County Democrats will have a Potluck Dinner and Program at 6 p.m. at the Hobbs Middle School Library, 5317 Glover Lane, Milton, FL 32570. Guest speaker will be Gordon Goodin, who will speak on transportation issues in Santa Rosa County. All Democrats are invited to attend and bring a dish for the Potluck. JULY 25DEADLINE Great Gulfcoast Arts Festival sponsoring poster contest The Great Gulfcoast Arts Festival is sponsoring a design competition to select the official GGAF poster for 2005. The winning artist will receive a cash award. Creative artists of all ages are encouraged to submit their designs. Entries should be appropriate for replication for posters, silk screened T-shirts and other GGAF promotional items.

Judging criteria will include viability of sales potential and submissions should be thematically related to the Arts Festival and the region.

Guidelines are available at www.ggaf.org or by writing to GGAF, P.O. Box 731, Pensacola, FL. 32594. Design entries must be received by noon, July 25, 2005.

The Great Gulfcoast Arts Festival will be Nov. 4, 5 and 6, 2005 in Pensacola’s Seville Square.

Trauma Program seeks Volunteers The Trauma Intervention Program (TIP), a group of citizens who provide emotional and practical support to victims of traumatic events and their families immediately following a tragedy, is in need of volunteers.
