Crane crashes on beach
     Photo by B.J. Davis/Gulf Breeze News In the early morning hours of Oct. 27, a crane working on Emerald Dolphin Condominiums on Pensacola Beach crashed to the ground. Fortunately no one was injured.Work still continues on the high rise which is located on Ft. Pickens Rd. just before Peg Leg Pete's restaurant as the twisted pile of metal from the crane's wreckage lies at the foot of the structure. The operator of the crane is employed by Yates Construction out of Mississippi. An investigation is underway.
