Committee formed to redefine beach

     At the Santa Rosa Island Authority’s February board meeting, chairman Bill Griffith suggested that a group be formed " to review the use of property on Pensacola Beach and propose responses to requests for changes in the use of property on Pensacola Beach.

Temporary trailers make permanent problems

     What began as a request by beach residents, Dr. and Mrs. Alex Gup to have an additional travel trailer placed on their Rio Vista Drive property has drawn attention to the large number of trailers now occupying the Island’s landscape - and the need to address the issue before hurricane season begins.
