Refuse to be a Victim personal safety seminar rescheduled for May 14

The Refuse To Be A Victim personal safety class originally scheduled for early April has been rescheduled and will now be held on Saturday, May 14th at the Body & Sol Fitness and Tanning Center (4475 Woodbine Road in Pace).

Safety experts agree the single most important factor in surviving a criminal attack is to have a personal safety strategy in place before it is needed.

The National Rifle Association, in partnership with the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office, will offer this crime prevention seminar to the citizens of Santa Rosa County.

The Refuse To Be A Victim class will be full of crime prevention and personal safety strategies citizens can use to develop their own safety plan. Attendees will learn about home, automobile, phone, technological and personal safety in a few hours.

This seminar will be instructed by the Crime Prevention Specialists of the sheriff’s office. It is being conducted free of charge from 10 a.m. - 12:00 Noon.

To register for this class, call Jim or Linda Davis at 995-9896.
